Donna McCulloch | Stylist & Fashion Editor
Donna McCulloch is a woman who has her finger firmly on the style pulse. A Stylist for celebrities (most recently Kate Lawler in Hello Magazine), the red carpet and Fashion Editor for luxury magazine, Style Nest. With such credentials, it was hard to not want to find out what influences such a lady. Donna offers her stylist services to everyone though and wants us all to feel amazing in our clothes.
How would you describe your occupation and what does it involve?
My job varies from day to day which is one of the reasons I love it but essentially being a Stylist is all about making people feel fabulous via their clothes. Be it a red carpet or a big work meeting. One of my clients calls me the clothes fairy.
What is your style and when did you realise this was you?
My personal style is very influenced by the 70s, but I like a mix of high street, vintage, pre-loved & designer - edgy glam is how I’d describe it.
What is your go-to item and why?
Biker jacket – it goes with everything!
What inspires you? We all have those days where we are lost in our wardrobes.
I spend a lot of time on Pinterest collating mood boards for clients, so that’s a great platform, but I also get a lot of inspiration from films from the 70s’.
What is your advice to live by?
Dress like you could bump into the boy/girl who broke your heart at 25 at any given moment and give them a reason to regret giving you up.
